Dr. Swimme is Director, Center for the Story of the Universe, California Institute of Integral Studies. He is the author of The Hidden Heart of the Cosmos, Manifesto for a Global Civilization (with Matthew Fox), The Universe is a Green Dragon and The Universe Story.
About The Institute
The 2009 Institute for Ecology, Theology, Spirituality and Justice is designed to reclaim the connection between spirit and earth and allow students to integrate the insights of science with the timeless wisdom of religious traditions.
Students will gain resources that will nourish and inspire them to find new ways to challenge others to increase their ecological awareness.
