Comments from recent participants:

  • "I read my Continuing Education newsletter cover to cover. It is important to me because I want to remain up-to-date on the going's on at my Alma Mater. I still have a strong emotional connection to Seattle University and the School of Theology and Ministry."
  • "It is a very valuable resource that networks with other key resources to make educational opportunities known."

Theological Colloquia

Join colleagues in ministry to discuss significant theological topics in a welcoming, ecumenical context. Participants read a pre-selected article in advance of each meeting. These articles address a range of topics, including but not limited to classical, feminist, and liberation theology, and Latin American, African-American, and Asian traditions. Meetings generally take place from noon to 1:30pm one day per month during the school year and are facilitated by prominent local pastors.

If you are interested in joining a colloquium, contact the Continuing Education coordinator: STM-continuinged@seattleu.edu
