Nicaraguan Artisan Sale – 50% off!

The Seattle University Campus Store is celebrating eight years of the Nicaraguan Artisan Program by offering 50 percent off Nicaraguan artisan items Nov. 5-10. Come by the Campus Store to see handcrafted works of art of the highest quality from the village of Masaya in the foothills of central Nicaragua. The store has been selling works of art from Nicaragua since 2004. The products are among the purest as the artisans dig their own clay and form each piece individually with handmade ceramic tools. After being shaped on a kick wheel, each piece is etched, hand-painted and wood-fired in a handmade kiln. Members of SU have personally visited the artisans to see them at work. The quality of their wood, ceramic and leather products is superb. For more information, visit www.seattleubookstore.com or contact William Cannon at cannonw@seattleu.edu.
