At the heart of the School of Theology and Ministry’s mission stands the education and formation of leaders in ministry who can “serve, challenge, and heal churches, communities, and all creation.”
To help accomplish this goal, the faculty and staff of the school have the privilege and responsibility of serving and challenging you, the students of STM, as well as assisting in your own healing processes.
Healing may be encouraged through STM’s formation program and the opportunities for communal liturgy, worship and prayer the school sponsors.
Classes, public lectures by invited guests, and the school’s journal (Seattle Theology and Ministry Review) certainly provide theological challenge.
A primary way we can be of service is through the communication of timely, accurate information. Hopefully, this “Student Information” webpage will be helpful in that regard. It offers you access to past, present, and future course schedules, with the ability to download and print course syllabi. The distinctive STM field education program is thoroughly described for you here. Information and contacts for internships and jobs are available. In addition, you will find materials, deadlines, and forms related to financial aid and other aspects of student life at STM.
We encourage you to familiarize yourself with this website and consult it frequently.
