Green learning and green living

STM has been highlighted in a national magazine this fall. In Trust Magazine, a magazine designed for people serving on boards or having responsibility for the health of theological schools, wrote an article entitled: "Green learning and green living."

Green Learning and Green Living

The article dealt with the tardiness of Catholic seminaries in responding to the environmental movement, and those schools leading the pack with creative efforts to integrate green perspectives into the Christian tradition. Five seminaries or schools of theology were featured -- STM, Catholic Theological Union in Chicago and Franciscan School of Theology in San Francisco, and two institutions in Canada. Given how timely ecological issues are, especially with up-coming generaitons, and the importance of this magazine to many school decision-makers, it is likely STM's North American name recognition will go up quite a bit as a result of this article.
