Search For Meaning Book Festival 2011: Additional Information

Event Location

Pigott AtriumSearch for Meaning: Pacific Northwest Spirituality Book Festival will take place in the Pigott Building on the Seattle University Campus. The Pigott Building, home to the Albers School of Business and Economics, features classrooms specifically designed to enhance student interaction and access to high-tech teaching equipment, while creating comfortable spaces to study or continue a classroom debate. The building is wired throughout with public network connections for laptops, and the state-of-the-art Murdock e-Lab features the latest computing equipment. The three-story Pigott Atrium anchors the building with a light-filled space where students gather with classmates or study over a freshly steamed latte.

Getting Here

Location

Seattle University is located in the First Hill neighborhood in downtown Seattle. The campus is conveniently located only seven blocks east of Interstate 5, via the James Street exit.

Getting Here from the Airport

Seattle University is located approximately 20 minutes north of Sea-Tac International Airport. Click here for a link to transportation options from the airport. Seattle University does not offer shuttle service.

Parking

Visitor Parking is available on campus. Permits must be purchased at the yellow pay boxes centrally located in the 12th Avenue and E. Marion Street Parking Lot (also called the "Pigott Parking Lot") or on the ground floor of the Murphy Parking Garage.

Pay boxes accept cash, Visa, and MasterCard. Unfortunately, the pay boxes cannot accept the new $5.00 or $10.00 bills at this time. Visitor parking fees start at the following rates:

0-4 hours: $6.00
2-4 hours: $10.00
4-6 hours: $12.00
6-24 hours. $15.00
