We like to think that the problem of human trafficking exists elsewhere but in fact it is happening everywhere: 700,000 persons trafficked across borders, 80% are female, 12.3 million persons in forced labor or sexual servitude, 27 million persons trafficked worldwide, 17,500 individuals trafficked annually into the USA.
