The Seattle Presbytery welcomes a new member to the team - STM alumna Eliana Maxim. Eliana is the new Director of Multicultural Ministries, and will be the primary staff person for the work of multicultural growth within the fellowships and churches of the Seattle Presbytery, and community at large.

A bit about Eliana:

Eliana comes to the presbytery staff after serving 14 years at Mercer Island Presbyterian Church as the Director of Children and Family Ministries. During that time, she pursued a seminary education and graduated in 2009 with an MDiv. She is currently under care for ordination of Word and Sacrament.

Eliana has served on the presbytery’s Catalyzing Missional Communities committee for the past year with a heart for our multi-ethnic fellowships as well as a commitment to the denomination’s vision of ecclesial multiculturalism in both mission and ministry.
