STM is delighted to welcome and host the annual meeting of the Pacific Northwest Conference of the African Methodist Episcopal Church, August 9-15, 2010. Bishop T. Larry Kirkland from Los Angeles will preside. Walker Chapel AME and Primm Tabernacle AME are the local church hosts. Hundreds of AME members and friends will be on the SU campus for business meetings, youth gatherings, worship services and more. Bishop Kirkland will have a temporary office in Hunthausen Hall for the duration of the conference.
