Monday, Jan. 28, 3-6 p.m.
LeRoux Conference Center (STCN 160)

Commuter and Transfer Student Life invites students, faculty and staff who are parents to a free children and maternity clothing swap and childcare resource fair.

Also, all faculty and staff are encouraged to assist the effort in two ways:
• If you have items you’d like to donate, you are invited to bring gently used, laundered clothing for children of all ages and maternity clothing, as well as children’s toys to the James Pigott Pavilion for Leadership (room 180), Jan. 22 through 25, between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
• If you are able to volunteer to help on the day of the swap—before, during or after the event—please e-mail ctsl@seattleu.edu.

For more information, visit http://www.seattleu.edu/ctsl/parents/ or contact Angel Asuncion-Reed at asuncioa@seattleu.edu.

Lunches with Leaders
Wednesday, Jan. 23 12:15-1:15pm
Student Center 130

Join us for lunch and hear about Laura Adriance’s leadership journey. Adriance serves as director of youth programming for the World Affairs Council’s Global Classroom program. She taught elementary school in both New York and Washington and worked with future teachers in the University of Washington’s teacher education program. As a Peace Corps volunteer, she conducted professional development for teachers in rural Namibia. She holds a master’s degree in elementary education from Columbia University and a PhD in education from the University of Washington. Adriance is particularly passionate about supporting teachers in their efforts to help students learn about the world beyond our borders and truly become global citizens. RSVP to LEAD@seattleu.edu. The first 20 to respond will receive a free lunch. Hosted by the Leadership Development Office and the International Student Center. For more information, visit Leadership Development or contact AnneMarie Ladlad at lead@seattleu.edu.
