Give Blood Next Week
Jan. 8 and 9, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Bellarmine Turnaround

Puget Sound Blood Center typically experiences a 50 percent decrease in blood collections over the holiday break. And if it snows in January as it did last year, donations can very quickly drop to emergency levels. Please help keep our region’s blood supply stable by making a donation. Get a head start on your New Year’s resolutions—commit to a simple act of community service and burn 650 calories in the process! To reserve an appointment, visit PSBC. Contact Krista Fink at kristaf@psbc.org for more information.

Activism. Homophobia. The Catholic Church.
Thursday, Jan. 10, 7-9 p.m.
LeRoux Conference Room (STCN 160)

During the 2012 election season many faithful Catholics advocated for marriage equality despite the Catholic Church leadership’s opposition to Referendum 74. Through a panel sharing and discussion we will explore the experience of Catholics, the realities of homophobia, and the challenges of activism in the Church. Some discussion will follow and some light refreshments will be served. For more information, contact Rachel Doll O’Mahoney in Campus Ministry at 296-5585.
