SGSU prides itself in supporting student led projects and events both on and off campus. Every year we are receive fantastic requests for funding.
Here's how to apply for funding:
1: Complete the ‘General Funding Request’ GFR online here.
2: You’ll receive a confirmation email in 1-2 business days that may request additional information. Complete and return this form via email. If your request is under $500 and is for the current quarter, it will be reviewed in the next meeting. If you are requesting over $500 your request will need to be presented via 5-10minute PowerPoint presentation at the committee’s bi-quarterly Saturday meetings.
NOTE: Requests under $500 submitted for a coming quarter will be evaluated the first week of the quarter in which your program/project happens. For +$500 projects/programs: be sure that you present BEFORE your event occurs.
3: If your request is over $500 you’ll need to attend to be presented via 5-10minute PowerPoint presentation at the committee’s bi-quarterly Saturday meetings. Listed below:

1. Now you don’t need to present for a request under $500 and you can do it all online!
2. We’re excited to now include Multicultural Program Funding (MPF) and Individual Project Grants (IPG) and general SGSU appropriation (GF) funding all in one place! You can apply for all three on the same form!
3. All request exceeding $500 must be submitted prior to the coinciding bi-quarterly meeting. Requests under $500 must be made 2 weeks prior to the event/project.
