The Woman's Century Club

The Woman's Century Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to women interested in furthering their education in the field of Fine Arts, Music, Medicine, Nursing or Women's studies. They are offering a $2000 scholarship to a financially needy woman. Must be a woman currently attending a fully accredited school of higher education with Junior standing.

Seattle University Catholic School Teacher & Principal Tuition Grant

Full-time religious lay teachers and principals of Catholic schools under the auspices of the Archdiocese of Seattle may apply for the grant provided they are matriculated in an eligible graduate degree or certificate program in the College of Education at Seattle University. Individuals employed at Catholic Schools who are on a leave of absence or working part-time are not eligible for the grant. Students who are eligible for tuition remission through Matteo Ricci College are not eligible for the grant.

Individuals must be matriculated in a graduate degree or graduate level certificate program in the College of Education. This does not include 1) students matriculated in the post-bachelor's or graduate level TESL certificate program offerred through the School of Teaching English as a Second Language, 2) the MIT or Doctoral
programs and 3) non-matriculated students.

Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship

If you are interested in studying abroad for 6 months to one year, starting in AY 09-10, then this scholarship is something you may want to pursue. In the past two years, six Seattle University students have received full funding through the Rotary scholarship to study in countries as diverse as Russia, Senegal, Norway, and Guatemala.

Keep in mind that the Ambassadorial Scholarship is administered regionally, and you can either apply through your home region, or the region in which you are attending college

NW Next Leaders Council Scholarship

Students must be actively enrolled and entering their junior or senior year in an accredited Puget Sound, Washington, college program. They must demonstrate high academic merit, community involvement and exceptional leadership qualities. To be considered for a scholarship under this program, applicants should include evidence of the following in their application: � A minimum 3.0 GPA (higher GPAs will receive a higher point score) � Enrolled and entering their junior or senior year in an accredited four year college in Washington State�s Puget Sound Region � Demonstrated community service and/or civic involvement � Employment history � The ability to write a clear vision for their future including specific goals � Demonstrated leadership skills

National Research Council - Fellowship Program

The Resident Research Associateship Programs provide postdoctoral and senior scientists and engineers with opportunities to conduct research on projects, largely of their own choice, which are compatible with the research interests of the sponsoring laboratories, thereby contributing to the overall research efforts of the federal government.
The Research Associateship awards are:

for doctoral level scientists and engineers (U.S and Foreign Nationals) who can apply their special knowledge and research talents to research areas that are of interest to them and to the host laboratories and centers.
for Postdoctoral Associates (within 5 years of the doctorate) and

for Senior Associates (normally 5 years or more beyond the doctorate)
for the purpose of conducting research at one of our host laboratories chosen by the applicant.

MyParkPhotos.com will hold a competition to award one secondary or post-secondary student in 2007 with a tuition scholarship of up to $1000 in 2007. The award is paid in two installments. One tuition scholarship of up to $500 in the Fall semester and one scholarship of up to $500 in the Spring semester.
