Army ROTC Scholarship

The scholarship is open to students pursuing any degree program at Seattle University. Candidates must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher and pass an Army physical fitness test that includes push-ups, sit-ups, and a two mile run. In addition to paying full tuition, the scholarship is accompanied by a room and board grant, a monthly stipend, and book money. The full scholarship has a four-year value of $169,200.

Students can apply year round.

Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program

The Gilman International Scholarship Program offers grants for U.S. citizen undergraduate students of limited financial means to pursue academic studies abroad. Such international study is intended to better prepare U.S. students to assume significant roles in an increasingly global economy and interdependent world.

820 scholarships of up to $5,000 will be awarded this academic year for U.S. citizen undergraduates to study abroad. Award amounts will vary depending on the length of study and student need with the average award being $4,000. Undergraduate students who are receiving federal Pell Grant funding at 2-year or 4-year colleges or universities are eligible to apply.
