SU's 2007 United Way of King County Campaign
(October 18 - October 26)
Goal: $100,000

Message from Fr. Sundborg

Dear Colleagues:

It is time to launch Seattle University's 2007 United Way of King County (UWKC) campaign led by Joan Tierney and Kent Koth . This year's campaign will extend through October 26 and, once again, you are encouraged to use the online method of pledging, already preferred by the majority of SU donors. Seattle University's support for this campaign is one way our faculty and staff join together for service, justice, and the greater good of our community. Early learning and ending homelessness are two of our community's most pressing issues. UWKC is working to ensure that children are safe, healthy and ready to succeed when they enter kindergarten and that everyone has a safe place to call home.

In 2006, the staff and faculty with the Jesuit Community raised $ 84,638. Once again an anonymous donor contributed $55,351 through our campaign resulting in a grand total of $136,989 for United Way.

Let's work together to make this a successful campaign. Thank you for your involvement this year!

Sincerely,

Fr. Stephen Sundborg
