Bannan Scholarships

These scholarships, named for their benefactor, Thomas J. Bannan, are available to upper level science and engineering students through an endowment to the University. Thomas J. Bannan, a man with a long and devoted affiliation with Seattle University, was a leader in manufacturing, commerce, engineering and applied sciences both in Seattle and in Los Angeles. Bannan Scholars are chosen on the basis of academic credentials and commitment to community and campus service. Each recipient receives a scholarship and participates in an enrichment program which exposes them to successful industrialists, applied scientists and engineers in local business and government communties and gives them opportunities for science-related community service.

Contact the Dean's Office of the College of Science and Engineering for more detailed information or read more about Bannan Scholars here.
