Mirbagheri-Yandl Award
The Mirbagheri-Yandl Award is presented to a graduating mathematics major whose achievement and enthusiasm for mathematics reflect the sprit of Ahmad Mirbagheri and Andre'Yandl, two beloved Seattle University faculty members. The award was established in 2001.

Undergraduate Mathematics Research Award
The Undergraduate Mathematics Research Award is given to the graduating mathematics major who has demonstrated inquisitiveness and intellectual independence in the pursuit of mathematical knowledge. This award was established in 2006.

Spirit of the Mathematics Department Award
The Spirit of the Mathematics Department Award recognizes graduating mathematics majors who have demonstrated exceptional support for the department's community of students and faculty members in academic and non-academic ways.

John Ju Award
In 1990, the College of Science and Engineering established an award in memory of John S. Ju, who received his chemistry degree from Seattle University in 1987. The College of Science and Engineering awards the John Ju award to the graduating senior in science or mathematics "who exudes the same profound joy and wonder at new ideas and curiosity to pursue the unknown, exhibited by John S. Ju". The Mathematics Department has several past winners of this award, including the following:

President's Award
