Teaching Interests: Dr. Boersema's teaching interests include a wide variety of courses at all levels. Of particular interest are sophomore-level calculus and linear algebra courses and the senior-level analysis course for mathematics majors.

Research Interests: Dr. Boersema's research interests focus on the use of K-theory as a classification tool for real C*-algebras. This field draws on many interesting ideas from analysis, algebra, linear algebra, and topology.
