Set Oscilloscope Baud Rate Setting

The oscilloscope Baud Rate must match the IntuiLink Baud Rate setting. 

Select oscilloscope Utility button then select I/O.

 

Set Baud Rate to 19200 and Handshake to DTR as displayed below.

Agilent IntuiLink Data Capture Program is the connectivity software that provides convenient access to instruments within Microsoft Windows.

To run IntuiLink see the start menu example below.

 

 

Welcome Box

If the Welcome Box opens:  √ Check Mark "Do not show this dialog again" and close the box.

Select 54600-Series

 

Get Waveform Data Tab

IntuiLink is capable of downloading both the oscilloscope Screen Image and the Waveform Data (useful for spreadsheets and data analysis).

Uncheck mark field Get waveform data to download only the Screen Image.

 

Set I/O Tab

Select the Set I/O Tab then Find Instruments button

 

Identify Instrument(s) 

Select Identify Instrument(s) button

 

 

IntuiLink COM1 Settings

Set IntuiLink Baud Rate to 19200 

 

The instrument found should be displayed as exampled below. If your instrument shows up as ??? question marks try turning off/on your oscilloscope and try again.

 

Select the Connect button 

 

 

Instrument should be displayed as Connected. Select Close button. 

 

Select the OK button 

 

 

Oscilloscope will be frozen for a minute as the download of the screen image occurs.

When completed oscilloscope screen will be displayed within IntuiLink.
