Dr. Skogerboe received her Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry in 1986 from Iowa State University. She completed post-doctoral studies in Clinical Chemistry and Clinical Molecular Genetics at the University of Washington. For six years she served as a laboratory director of Molecular Biology at Dynacare Laboratory of Pathology, and joined the Seattle University faculty in 1995. She is board certified in Clinical Chemistry (DABCC) and Molecular Medical Genetics (DABMG). She is interested in developing sensitive methods for the analysis of biologic molecules, and in promoting active learning in the chemistry curriculum.
