Ryan P. McLaughlin, Associate Professor, 2001-present  

Dr. McLaughlin received his B.S degree in Chemistry from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, WA, and his Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley, where he worked with Prof. Richard J. Saykally.  Dr. McLaughlin also performed post-doctoral research with Prof. Phillip J. Reid at the University of Washington before joining the Department of Chemistry at Seattle University in 2001.   

Dr. McLaughlin served as a Fulbright Scholar to Ireland during the 2009-10 academic year, teaching and performing research at University College Cork in Cork, Ireland.
