Notes:

A minimum of 180 credits is needed for graduation with a BS in Biology, which must include:

 43 credits of biology

20 credits of chemistry and math/stats

 5 credits of science

 58 credits of core

1  If BIOL 200 is selected, BIOL 210 should be taken as an elective.

2  At least ten credits of the non-Senior Synthesis Biology courses (BIOL A, B, C, and electives) must be either 300- or 400-level courses.

3  Generally the chemistry series taken will be CHEM 121/122/123/131/132/133, but others may be approved by the Biology Department.

4  The science elective must be a majors course for that department and may be a biology course.

The full Biology degree program may be found in the current undergraduate bulletin.
