Prospective Students

Scholarships

We want good students who are fascinated by the natural world and by technology, and who can thrive in our small, rigorous, personal SeattleSeenFromBellevueDec09(2)environment. Applicants to the Physics department may be elligible for two different schoolarships in addition to financial aid:

  • The Sperry Goodman Merit Scholarship. Please contact Prof. David Boness at dboness@seattleu.edu for information.
  • The Boscovich Scholarship. Please contact Prof. Paul Fontana at fontanap@seattleu.edu for information.

PhysFest

PhysFest is an opportunity for perspective Physics Majors to visit campus for a weekend, participate with our professors in Physics physfest students croppedExperiements, interact with our current physics majors, and get a feel for SU's campus. This year will be our 4th annual PhysFest. This is a great opportunity for perspective students to become familiar with the SU Physics Department and all we have to offer. PhysFest happens at the end of February and is by invitation. Please contact Prof. Paul Fontana at fontanap@seattleu.edu if you are interested.
