such, his favorite classes include Euclidean and Modern Geometry and Multivariable Calculus. In addition, Dr. Helliwell has lead independent reading in Differential Geometry, and undergraduate research exploring Taxicab Geometry. Dr. Helliwell's research lies in geometric analysis. In particular, he is studying various high-order geometric flows.
BiographyDr. Helliwell received his B.S. in Mathematics from Harvey
Mudd College in 1998. He earned his Ph.D. in Mathematics from the
University of Washington in 2005. He has been at Seattle University ever
since.
