Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering Visit Website Contact InformationBiographyAgnieszka Miguel joined the department in the Fall of 2004. Dr. Miguel received her Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering in 2001 from the University of Washington, and MSEE and BSEE from Florida Atlantic University in 1996 and 1994. Dr. Miguel’s research interests involve image and video compression, image processing, wavelets, and electrical and computer engineering education especially active learning. Her teaching interests include MATLAB, circuits, linear systems, signal processing, digital image processing, and data compression. Dr. Miguel is a member of the IEEE, ASEE, SWE, and Tau Beta Pi. She holds several officer positions within the ASEE (Campus Representative, 2011-2012 ECE Division Chair Elect, 2011-2012 NEE Division Past and Awards Chair, and Secretary/Treasurer of the PNW Section. |
