Whitaker International Fellows and Scholars Program for Biomedical Engineers 
$15,000 or more in tuition, travel, and living expenses to intern or conduct research overseas in the field of biomedical engineering

Joint Japan / World Bank Graduate Scholar Program
Covers tuition, travel, and costs of living towards master's degrees in the fields of development (such as economics, health, education, agriculture, environment, natural resource management, etc.) in universities across the world

Mount Sinai International Exchange Program for Minority Students 
Travel, housing, and stipends for minority students in fields including: education, health, biomedical, social work, environment, biology, etc. to work on community-based scientific research projects in Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Spain, Chile, and South Africa

Global Health Corps
Fellowships are available in a wide range of areas, from monitoring and evaluation to supply chain management, communications to human resources

National Health Service Corps
NHSC scholarships covering full tuition, educational costs, and stipends for up to 4 years in exchange for at least 2 years of health care service in communities of great need. Other opportunities also available

Robert S. McNamara Fellowships Program
Supports doctoral research work in economic development through a 5-10 month residency period in a country outside the fellow's home or residence country

Undergraduate Study

National Institutes of Health Undergraduate Scholarship Program 
Gives $20,000 for up to 4 years towards academic and living expenses, paid research training, and paid employment after graduation for students from disadvantaged backgrounds who are committed to careers in biomedical, behavioral, and social science health-related research
