Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) National Network for Environmental Management Studies Fellowship Program (NNEMS)
Environmental research project opportunities for students of diverse fields. A stipend will be awarded based on the student’s level of education and the duration and location of the project.

Department of Energy Science Undergraduate Laboratory Internships 
Paid mentored-research internships over the summer or academic year in Dept of Energy laboratories all over the country

EPA National Center for Environmental Research Fellowships 
Information on different fellowship opportunities on environmental research, environmental policy, and public health

Air & Waste Management Association Scholarships 
Offers scholarships of varying awards to full-time graduate students pursuing study and research in air quality, waste management, environmental management/policy/law and sustainability

Joint Japan / World Bank Graduate Scholar Program
Covers tuition, travel, and costs of living towards master's degrees in the fields of development (such as economics, health, education, agriculture, environment, natural resource management, etc.) in universities across the world

Center for Coastal Margin Observation and Prediction Summer Undergraduate Research Internship 
Paid summer research internships

Mount Sinai International Exchange Program for Minority Students
Travel, housing, and stipends for minority students in fields including: education, health, biomedical, social work, environment, biology, etc. to work on community-based scientific research projects in Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Spain, Chile, and South Africa

Robert S. McNamara Fellowships Program
Supports doctoral research work in economic development through a 5-10 month residency period in a country outside the fellow's home or residence country

The Center for Environmental Health Sciences 
The Center for Environmental Health Sciences (CEHS) at the University of Montana sponsors a summer educational research experience for outstanding college undergraduates.  The Summer Undergraduate Research Program (SURP) is part of a national program to attract and train undergraduates to research careers in the environmental health sciences.

Borlaug Fellows in Global Food Security Program
Supports graduate students interested in developing a component of their graduate research in a developing country, in collaboration with a mentor from an International Agricultural Research Center or national-level agriculture institution in the host country

Environment America Environmental Fellowships
Over $23,000 and professional development in fellowships in impacting environmental policy

Environmental Law Institute Internships
Internships available in grants, publications, legal, and research that support the Environmental Law Institute

Air & Waste Management Association Scholarships 
Offers scholarships of varying awards to full-time graduate students pursuing study and research in air quality, waste management, environmental management/policy/law and sustainability

Echoing Green Fellowship
Up to $90,000 for individuals or partnerships to entrepreneurs creating new social change organizations

Brower Youth Awards
$3,000 cash prize, wilderness camping trip, and ongoing access to Earth Island Institute resources for youth demonstrating outstanding leadership in projects with positive environmental and social impact

FHI 360 Internships
Projects in reproductive health and family planning, HIV/AIDS prevention and care, economic development, civil society, domestic and international education, and social and behavioral change
