Welcome to Disabilities Services at Seattle University!      

Our Mission

To create a community in which students with disabilities are able to participate fully in all aspects of university life. This is accomplished by:

  • Identifying and coordinating the implementation of appropriate accommodations in accordance with Seattle University's 'Section 504/ADA Policy and Appeal Procedure'
  • Providing academic and other support services in partnership with students, faculty, and staff
  • Educating the Seattle University community about disabilities

The Disabilities Services component of the Learning Center offers resources and services for:

  • Information on learning, physical, and psychological disabilities.
  • The process for getting a disability documented.
  • Academic adjustments for students with documented disabilities.
  • Student rights and responsibilities.
