Isiaah Crawford, Ph.D.

As the chief academic officer of the University, the Provost is a member of the Executive Team and reports directly to the President.
The Provost has responsibility for all academic planning and budgeting; effective leadership of the Deans' Council including support of the Deans in meeting their college/school and university development goals; recruitment and development of faculty and support of teaching, research, and service activities of the faculty; faculty governance; program development and promotion; and recruitment of a talented and diverse student body.
Reporting directly to the Provost are the Deans of the eight schools and colleges, the University Librarian and the Associate Provosts for Academic Affairs and Enrollment Services.
