University policies
Welcome to Seattle University’s website for University policies. This website was established on February 1, 2005, and is a work-in-progress. The goal for this website is to provide a single, centralized, and easy-to-use location where viewers can find University policies that affect all members of the University’s community and, in some cases, campus visitors or guests. University policies will be added to this website until the site becomes a comprehensive resource for University policies.
This site will not include policies that apply only to specific academic or administrative units or only to students, though it may link the viewer to those policies.
In some cases, the viewer will find the University policy itself on this site. In other cases, this site will link the viewer to other pages in the University’s website where University policies reside.
Each University policy posted on this site is the most current version and supersedes any other or earlier versions of the policy.
Each University policy identifies the office of record – that is, the University department responsible for developing, updating, and interpreting the policy. If a viewer has questions about a policy, the office of record is the place to contact.
Any questions or comments about, or suggestions for this website should be directed to the Office of University Counsel at policies@seattleu.edu or 206-296-2043.
