Technology Training for Faculty

Faculty Technology Support at OIT provides training to Seattle University faculty and staff on the following technologies:

  • ANGEL
  • Presentation/Lecture Capture (Echo 360)
  • Microsoft Software
  • Audio/visual classroom equipment
  • Seattle University website editing software (Ektron CMS)

Online Training

We provide self-paced online training on the following software:

  • Ektron Content Management System - Complete the online training module and you'll receive instructions on how to gain access to the CMS at Seattle University.
  • Microsoft Software - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, OneNote, Project, and Visio.  For access to this online training, contact Rebecca Meeder at meederr@seattleu.edu.

McAfee Anti-Virus Rollout for Mac

5/10/2012

Rollout of the newest version of McAfee Anti-Virus software to Apple Mac users begins May 10 for a planned completion date of June 30. Users will have the option to self-install the software via the OIT website or have an OIT representative assist in the installation via an appointment. Users can also bring their laptop to the OIT drop-in center from May 10 to June 8.
