Video Equipment Checkout and Duplication
Faculty can check out camcorders and tripods for video recording, allowing the documentation of a variety of classroom activities, including student presentations and guest lecturers. Classroom Support staff will train Faculty, Staff or Students in camcorder operation upon request. Classroom Support staff are not available for recording of events or classes.
Classroom Support can duplicate audio and video tapes of materials developed by Faculty or Students as long as there are no copyright issues that would raise legal questions. Please see the Media Duplication Chart below.

* DVD Copies contain the video/audio portion only and do not preserve menus or chapters. Note: Although ITCS offers duplication as a service to SU Faculty, Staff and Students, duplication projects are considered secondary priority to our Classroom Support duties. ITCS does not have the software or staffing to edit video. If Faculty are interested in editing video, they should contact Faculty Technology Support for information about using the FTS Lab. |
