The Network Services team manages the wired and wireless network access among the campus buildings, specific offsite locations, and the Internet. Remote access to campus-based systems via the Internet is also supported through the Virtual Private Network (VPN) system.
Most major buildings on campus have partial 802.11g wireless coverage, and all residence halls are fully covered with 802.11n. The Bellevue and James Tower locations also provide wireless access. As of July 2009 all newly constructed buildings are implementing 802.11n wireless access throughout most if not all the new rooms.

All buildings on campus have locations containing wired network connections except for the St. Ignatius Chapel. The following offsite locations also have wired network connectivity: Broadway, James Tower, and Bellevue.
Seattle University faculty and staff can remotely access most campus systems from any computer with an Internet connection and one of the appropriate Virtual Private Network (VPN) configurations.
