A program of study leading to a practice doctorate in nursing and includes on-campus classes with options for weekend intensive study.

Our DNP graduates will be prepared for advanced levels of evidence-based practice, clinical scholarship, and leadership in healthcare systems. In consultation with program faculty and mentors, each student selects the focus for a scholarly DNP capstone project in an identified clinical setting.

Why pursue a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree?

The practice doctorate prepares advanced practice nurses to meet the demands of complex health care systems, the rapidly expanding scientific knowledge needed for practice, and increasing opportunities for interprofessional collaboration and leadership.
