Congratulations to BSN student, Brandon Ibarra, who just received the Barbara Jordan Health Policy 2012 Scholar award.
Brandon is one of 15 recipients, among 450 applicants, to receive this award. He will travel to Washington D.C. this May to participate in this scholars program that brings talented young adults together, and who will be placed in congressional offices to learn first-hand about health policy and the legislative process, as well as gain a broader understanding of issues affecting racial and ethnic minority and underserved communities.
