The BSN spring cohort celebrated the completion of their studies at the College of Nursing's annual pinning ceremony. The event is a tradition in nursing education that symbolizes the welcoming of new nurses into the profession.
Many students and faculty were recognized for their accomplishments and contributions during the course of the evening. The graduating seniors presented the Award for Most Inspirational Faculty to Maria Pettinato and Most Inspirational Student went to Kristine Narcisco Ryan.
The college along with Sigma Theta Tau International presented the following student awards to the graduates.
- Spirit of the College of Nursing Award, Audra Shaw
- Nursing Service Award, Courtney Walker
- Sister Mary Ruth Niehoff Award, Danielle Oliver
