Michael Huggins, PhD(c), EdD, APRN, FAANP Dr. Huggins comes to us as a tenured associate professor from the Lansing School of Nursing and Health Sciences. He was also the Associate Director of the Family Nurse Practitioner track in the MSN program. He is currently completing his PhD in Nursing at the University of Kentucky, Lexington. He is also a certified Gerontological Advanced Nurse Practitioner. He is the founder and lead clinician at the Golden Door Health and Wellness Clinic, which provides primary health care to vulnerable populations in Western Louisville. Gail Salvatierra, PhD, MSN, RN Dr. Salvatierra completed her PhD at Washington State University in 2012 and has extensive teaching experience across multiple nursing programs, including ADN and BSN. She has over 25 years of clinical experience in acute care where she held positions as a clinician, educator and manager. Gail joined the College of Nursing faculty in the fall of 2011 and teaches primarily adult medical-surgical courses. Benjamin Miller, PhD, FNP Dr. Miller completed his PhD at Washington State University in 2013. He is certified as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner and has practiced since 2000. He has been a lecturer and clinical faculty at Seattle University College of Nursing for the 2012-2013 Academic Year. Ben has held a number of adjunct faculty positions since 1993, including his work at Portland Community College and Washington State University.
