John A. Hartford Foundation Claire M. Fagin Fellow Named
Jean Tang, associate professor of nursing at SU, was selected as a 2011-2013 John A. Hartford Foundation Claire M. Fagin Fellow. In addition to the Hartford Fellowship, Dr. Tang was recently awarded a National Institute of Nursing Research sponsored post-doctoral research fellowship with University of Pennsylvania. The research training program emphasizes Individualized Care for At-Risk Older Adults.
The John A. Hartford Foundation Claire M. Fagin Fellow Program focuses on building academic geriatric nursing capacity through the development of leaders in gerontological nursing. The selection process for this fellowship is very competitive. Last year, only eight awards were given out in the nation. To view last year’s recipients visit:
