Patrick Murphy Awarded NIH Grant, Honored as Outstanding Faculty Member
Patrick Murphy, PhD has received grant funding from the National Institutes of Health for his lab research on molecular mechanisms of cellular chaperone proteins. This grant will support two years of research on the subject and will allow the participation of three students in the research process.
Dr. Murphy was also recently honored by the Associated Students of Seattle University (ASSU) who named him Outstanding Faculty Member of the Year and invited him to speak at the President’s Commencement Brunch in June. The ASSU comprises the elected representatives of SU’s undergraduate student body.
