We have planned a perfect weekend, with a variety of events for you to enjoy with your student. Alumni and Family Weekend is a great way to get to know your son's or daughter's friends and professors, and to meet other parents.
Whether your student is a freshman or senior, Alumni and Family Weekend is a great way to discover the place your son or daughter calls home.The Seattle University Choir will have a special concert on Friday night. Saturday morning, participate in an engaging discussion about our distinctive focus on learning at Seattle University.
Don't miss the ever popular dinner show on Saturday or the Sunday morning brunch with the Jesuits. Whether you participate in every activity, or only a few, please plan to join your son or daughter, their friends and others for a fantastic weekend. staff on employer treks to two of Seattle’s fastest growing and unique
companies. You are invited to join us at either Zillow or Amazon where we will
be hosted by HR staff and Seattle U alums. On site we will learn about industry
trends, company culture and career opportunities, and close out the afternoon
with a tour of the headquarters. (Space is limited!

Are you a member of a
multi-generation Seattle U family? Join us as we honor our Seattle
University legacy families with a pinning ceremony and reception. This event is
open to all Seattle U alumni grandparents, parents and relatives of current students,
legacy students and all alumni who are part of Seattle University legacy
families themselves. Legacy alumni will celebrate their family legacy by
pinning their students with their Seattle U legacy pin. Attendees will enjoy

Concert (Chapel of St. Ignatius)This year's Family
Weekend concerts promise to be a real treat for all who attend. The
Chapel of St. Ignatius, internationally acclaimed for the beauty and unique
quality of its architecture, provides a perfect setting for our fine choral
groups. As always the choirs sing a wide variety of interesting and
heart-warming repertoire. Featured works include our own Lee Peterson's
Gloria and Sanctus from Missa Animae, both beautiful and moving pieces; a
very special arrangement of the traditional spiritual, Steal Away, for men's
voices; a lovely traditional work, O sanctissima, arranged for women's voices;
a magnificent O magnum mysterium by Morten Lauridsen, sung by our Chamber
Singers; and a wonderful setting of the prayer of St. Francis, Make
Me an Instrument, by Mary McDonald. Tickets required.

Housed in the world's greenest building, Seattle University's
Center for Environmental Justice and Sustainability supports student and
faculty research through the lens of human and environmental well-being. Come
hear CEJS Director, Dr. Phillip Thompson discuss current and future efforts to
make Seattle University an international leader on environmental justice and
sustainability issues." The presentation will be followed by table
discussions with faculty, staff and other families.
