Parents’ Council

  • Hello from the SU Parents' Council

We would like to take this opportunity to welcome our new parents, say hello to those "seasoned" parents as well, and invite you to become involved in our Parents' Council. As a parent of a Seattle University student you are already a vital part of our campus community. The Parents' Council is a group of parents who meet quarterly, are updated on campus happenings and are able to provide feedback from a parent's perspective.

We also have the opportunity to gain more knowledge about what the university has to offer our students while we enjoy getting to know other parents of SU students. If you are interested in volunteering with New Student Orientation, Parents' Weekend, being resources for other parents, and even mentor students regarding careers, the Parents' Council would be a great place for you to get involved.

If you don't live in the Puget Sound area, there are still ways to get involved. You can be a part of regional events sponsored by the University, such as accepted student receptions around the west or by attending regional alumni events.

If this is of interest to you and you would like to learn more about how to become involved, we encourage you to send an email. We'd love to answer any questions you may have. Thanks for being such a wonderful part of our Seattle University community.
