When to Make Travel Plans
Beginning early May, reservations will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis through the New Student Preferences, but space is limited at each session so please do not make any travel plans until you have received a session confirmation from us.
Changing a Reservation
Contact New Student & Family Programs at (206)296-2525, newstudent@seattleu.edu . We will do our best to accommodate a change.
Changes cannot be accommodated after Monday, June 24th at 4:30pm for those attending the first or second and until July 1st at 4:30 for the third or fourth sessions in Seattle.
For those attending the fourth session in Honolulu, changes cannot be accommodated after Monday, July 15th at 4:30pm.
Lodging for Parents and Families
Parents can find a list of hotels close to the Seattle University campus.
There will also be an on-campus housing option for students' families in the Teilhard de Chardin residence hall. If you are interseted in this option, follow this link.
Parking
During summer orientation, complimentary parking is available in our Broadway and Columbia Garage (across the street from Swedish Hospital).
Flight Discounts
In an effort to make travel to campus for Summer in Seattle a bit more affordable, we have partnered with Alaska Airlines to receive a 5% discount on all Alaska Airlines Flights to and from Seattle any date between July 6, 2013 and July 20, 2013. The discount code is ECMU723. To use your Discount Code go online to alaskaair.com and
input the Discount Code when searching for flights. The discount will be
applied to any flights meeting the contract parameters.
Airport Transportation
Sea-Tac
International Airport (SEA) serves the greater Seattle area. The
airport is located about 15 miles south of SU. To get to SU, take a taxi
(fare is approximately $40), a shared van ride with Shuttle Express (approximately $37)
or Light
Link Rail to Pioneer Square Station and then a Metro bus.
