Come explore the variety of outdoor activities the Northwest has to offer on this road trip adventure, including taking hiking (suitable for all levels of ability) with the breathtaking views of Hurricane Ridge (1.5 mi), and visiting the crystal clear waters of Lake Crescent. Wednesday night we'll take a ferry to the other side of the Puget Sound and stay at Camp Ramblewood (an Environmental Learning Center) featuring 3-sided, open air cabins or communal lodge-style accommodations, located near the bio-luminescent beach and boasting a group bonfire (weather dependant). Limited to 40 students.
On Wednesday and Thursday nights we will be staying in cabin-style accommodations. There will be several beds but you will need to bring a sleeping bag. The university has a limited number of sleeping bags for student use. Please bring your own if possible. If you cannot, please let us know by August 30th.
Students without the required gear will not be able to participate in the immersion.
Please pack light; this is only a two night trip and we won't have tons of room. Try to keep all your gear in one small duffle bag. If you don't own any of these items, please email me by September 1 and I will see if arrangements can be made to bring an extra for you.
