2008 Welcome Week Guide

Hey New Redhawks! Can you believe it? Fall Quarter is just around the corner and you're probably wondering what to expect. Well, worry not! This website has been designed with you in mind. In the following pages you'll learn more about Welcome Week, the Salons Program, as well as how to prepare for Academic Day.

Many of you have already been to campus for our Summer in Seattle ”orientation program. The next step in your orientation experience at Seattle University is our WELCOME WEEK, September 20-27, 2008. If you have already participated in a summer program, you will move into your residence hall room on Saturday, September 20, beginning at 9:00 a.m.

All first year students are expected to attend our Welcome Week activities. You will meet the entire Class of 2012, upper division students, faculty and staff. A mix of academic, social and informational programs will be offered to make sure you have what you need to begin your SU career.
