Seattle University Women’s Basketball Coach Joan Bonvicini stood alongside Hall of Famer Warren Moon and KING 5 TV’s Jean Enersen as they urged passers-by to donate to the needy this holiday season.

The Salvation Army’s annual event rings in the holidays in its own unique way, by partnering with local celebrities to raise funds for the destitute and desolate of King County. Athletes, coaches, media personalities and more, line up along Pine St. in front of the downtown Nordstrom Store where fans can donate to their kettles and pose for a photograph.

Coach Joan was even spotted pulling out her own wallet to support the organization.

More pictures from the event can be found at The Salvation Army NW Division.
