Contemplatives in Action: CIA Groups

These small student communities are places for you to actively engage your spiritual journey in the company of others. It’s an opportunity for discernment and the connection of your spirituality with issues of social justice in the greater community.

  • Groups are comprised of 5-8 members
  • Commit to gathering together one hour a week
  • Share one another’s spiritual journey
  • Actively discern where you are called to personally and in small community
  • Help each other live sustainably and intentionally
  • Pray and/or meditate together
  • Attend retreats and other social events to build community
  • Engage in different service opportunities as a group
  • Be in relationship and peace advocates for the marginalized and disenfranchised

  • Grad Student Group
  • Jewish Group
  • Multifaith Group
  • Muslim Group
  • Spiritual But Not Religious Group
