Have you been Confirmed?
Confirmation is the final stage of initiation as a Catholic. For those of you who are yet to be Confirmed in the faith the Spirit is inviting you to consider journeying with others who said yes to this invitation. The preparation consists of 8 sessions with the first one beginning on January 10th 2010. The sacrament is scheduled for May 9th, 2010. The classes will be held in Hunthausen Hall, Room 100 on Sunday afternoons from 4:30 to 6pm. Contact Fr. Fernando if you are interested in Confirmation this year.
Compline Service
Vans will be going to St. Mark’s Cathedral on 10th Ave. E for the Compline service every Sunday, beginning October 4. Meet at the Bellarmine Turnaround at 9pm. Bible Study
Weekly Bible Study will be starting up the week of October 5th. Vans will be going to “The Inn @ the U” for contemporary Christian worship and fellowship every Tuesday night. RCIA
We will again be welcoming new members to our Catholic faith community through the RCIA process, the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. Our sessions will begin in mid-October, and culminate in Baptism at the Easter Vigil. All are welcome. We are also putting together a team of people to help with RCIA as sponsors, presentors, or helping in breaking open the word during mass. Spiritual Direction
If you are interested in receiving spiritual direction, there is a group of students in their final year of the spiritual direction program in the school of theology and ministry who will be available to provide spiritual direction.
