In the 2012 Fiske Guide to Colleges, just released, Seattle University has been named a “Best Buy” school for best value among 49 colleges and universities nationwide. The Fiske Guide groups the rated schools—24 public and 25 private—into four price categories ranging from inexpensive to very expensive and recommends schools that offer outstanding academics at a moderate cost.
All of the “Best Buy” schools fall into the inexpensive to moderate price range and the majority have four- or five-star ratings when it comes to academics, according to the Fiske Guide.
