Pat Conroy, S.J., became the first Jesuit and just the second Catholic priest to be named chaplain of the House o

f Representatives. Father Conroy has ties to this Washington as well, particularly Seattle and Seattle University. His father, brother and aunts and uncles graduated from the university and he served in Campus Ministry in the 1990s.
