Video/Audio Editing Facilities
All of our Video and Audio Editing Stations are equipped with Mac computers featuring dual displays and loaded with software that includes: Final Cut Pro X, Motion 5, Final Cut Studio Pro 3, Adobe Creative Suite Production Premium CS5, iLife ’09, Logic Studio Pro 9, and Toast Titanium 10.
The MPC is not responsible for and does not provide storage of your electronic files. Users are required to provide their own storage device.
Drop-In Zone
The 6-station Drop-in Zone (119) is available on a first-come basis during these hours:
Mon-Thurs: 9am - 9pm
Fri: 9am-5pm
Sat: 10am-5pm
Sun: Closed
If demand necessitates, users may be limited to 4 consecutive hours per day. Headphones are required for audio within the drop-in zone (available upon request).
Covered beverages are allowed in the drop-in zone, but food is not.
Editing Rooms
Scheduling an Editing Room (116, 117, 129, 130) requires an approved Editing Room Request Form and completion of MPC Training Workshops or MPC certification of software proficiency.
Editing rooms are available Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, by special appointment only. Requests must be made at least two full business days in advance. Requested submitted after 5pm will be considered turned in the following business day. Requests are reviewed Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm and are contingent upon availability.
Covered beverages are allowed in the editing rooms, but food is not.
